This part of my life….., this little part….., is called happiness.
I recently got promoted to 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿 — 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆.
I have been promoted in my previous jobs as well but this one feels a bit different.
In all my career so far, I have never been so comfortable in my job financially, emotionally, professionally, and with a work-life balance.
Was it easy as it looked? No, no it wasn’t.
There’s something about my current organization and I am not here to please anyone but when an employee feels at home, at peace with oneself & people around one, the level of productivity and long-term association with the company hits a different peak altogether.
To be honest, I have always worked hard. I have a deep hunger to learn every single day and give it back to people around me but the fact that your peers recognize your work without you pitching for it, it soothes you to eternity.
This promotion shall be one of the many milestones in my career to come but when I look back at the past year that has gone by, I feel contented with all the hard work that I had put in and with the opportunity at hand.
I have a fabulous team that I am proud of. I have great peers and seniors who look after us. I have a great opportunity at hand to build something great that can truly change the landscape of the industry.
I still have a barrage of emotions that I wish to put out here. Emotions, about how I felt after getting out of the appraisal meeting, emotions that I had while I was driving back home, emotions that ran through me while sharing the news with my family.
